Hide in Plain Sight Scholarship
The Hide in Plain Site (HIPS) Provides Scholarships to remove the barriers a homeless or student in poverty faces including tuition assistance, books, fees, transportation, childcare, food and housing. HIPS scholarship provides funding for students who are at risk, whether that be homelessness, poverty or special needs, so they can get a post-secondary scholarship to a college.
Requirements, Terms & Conditions:
• Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA
• Be a Colorado resident
• between the ages of 17-29
• Homeless or living at or under 3-times the poverty level for the state of Colorado (1 p: $40,770, 2pp: $54,930, 3pp: $69,090, 4pp: $83,250)
• Accept the scholarship’s terms & conditions through CCD’s scholarship portal b
• Submit a scholarship contract
• Upload a digital image of yourself
• Submit the Photo/Video Release Form
• Provide a short bio of yourself, including your hometown, any hobbies or interesting facts, and skills/talents that you have that may set you apart from others. This is your scholarship brag bio, so include anything you would like the donor to know about you
